Welcome to the heart of Istria! We are Teja and Boštjan, a couple united by our love for the Istrian land and a deep respect for its cultural heritage. The Istrian Embrace brand is rooted in our family traditions, which span across much of Istria.
We invite you to stay at Villa Carla Istrian House in Bonini, once home to Teja’s ancestors, and at Hiša Kižin in Brezovica near Gradin, the village where Boštjan’s roots lie. Continuing a long-standing family tradition, we cultivate high-quality extra virgin olive oil and native red garlic on our farm.
We’d love to host you for a culinary workshop where you’ll learn how to prepare Istrian fuži pasta and other regional specialties in the cozy ambiance of Villa Carla.
